XO for All and Green: Desiging Flexible and Sustainable XO applications

This project aims to investigate and develop a software application for the XO laptop considering adaptable and adaptive resources in the user interface. Using flexible user interface, it is expected that the software addresses the different users' needs and preferences while interacting with the XO laptop. The differences among users include disabilities (e.g. deafness and blindness), ages, and interaction experiences. Moreover, the application will focus on promoting sustainable behavior in communities. The sustainable behavior would reach the school community, involving children, teachers, as well as the students? family, since it is expected that children will also use XO laptops at home along with their family..
